Background

After studying English Language and Literature at Royal Holloway College, University of London, Miriam made a career in education, teaching variously in schools, EFL colleges and homes.

Her second MA took her into educational psychology; she served in a Scottish local authority, lectured at Dundee University and worked as a freelance trainer and consultant. During these years she wrote professionally and academically, publishing and editing books and articles in her specialist field of attuned interactions. She launched the professional e-journal Attuned Interactions and served as its first editor.

Her writing has now developed into the fields of creative non-fiction and fiction.
